Today Prof Aziz was coming to our class to give some briefing about Business Plan Competition which held by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDec) with collaboration from Institution of Higher Learning.
10 years ago....
UUM IT student is wanted company for their workers.
Previously, Company find workers, but nowadays we are find for job.
Now is very competitive. Then Prof Aziz advice us to become a businessman.
Basically, MDec searching students from IPTA and IPTS to join this competition.
First competition was held in 2004.
Objective MSC Malaysia :
1. To include a culture of Technopreneur in institutions of Higher Learning.
2. Provide exposure and knowledge of key competencies required in becoming a successful Technopreneur.
3. Encourage student and research from reverse background to share their business idea and from teams that leverage on both technology and business competencies.
Competition scope is :
> Creative multimedia
> Software and e-solutions
> Shared services and sourcing
Categories :
- Business Plan
-Business Idea
Business Plan :
-Open to all undergraduate students
-Demonstrate the commercial risibility of the idea
-Does not require a prototype or product
Business Idea :
- Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate
Past grand prize winner is :
2008/09

First Grand prize is Cash RM5000
Then we are encourage to write down our name in the form that given who interested join the competition.
